Channeling Technique

As promised, here is the technique I wrote about in the previous post.

How To Channel the Light

This energy technique works best with a partner. Decide who is going to send, and who will receive. The “Receiver” sits comfortably on a chair with eyes closed. Hands on knees, or folded together Buddha style or clasped fingers. It matters little. Feet should be square on the floor. Do not cross the ankles. The “Sender” or “Channel” may elect to sit or stand. At various times the “Channel” will find it more convenient to stand to channel to different spots.

Both should send an intention out to the “Universe.” A prayer, a wish, whatever you may call it. The bottom-line intention is that you want the energy’s positive influence in your life whether you are giving or receiving. From this point on the Receiver needs no further instruction.

For the Channel:

Hold out your hand toward the Receiver, palm directed at the point of “contact.” (This is not a locked physical point. It is a reference point for convenience.) Distance should be about 6 – 12 inches away from the Receiver. Spend 30 -60 seconds on any point. At times, you may elect to spend a longer amount of time. But remember that 30 -60 seconds of divine energy is no less powerful than 5 minutes. Let your intuition guide you.

Imagine light flowing from your palm as water might flow from a shower, bathing the Receiver in Divine Light. Imagine it happening. Imagine the Light in whatever way or color you wish. Gold, Yellow, White, Rainbow. It doesn’t matter. The Divine Source of the energy knows your intention and will direct it if you simply allow.

Basically, you will be channeling to the 7 major charka points in the body. First, the front, then the rear.
• Start with the forehead, just above the eyebrows. The “third eye.”
• Move to the Crown of the head
• Move to the Throat
• Move to the Heart, at the center of the chest
• Move to the Solar Plexus, just below the ribs and sternum
• Move to the “Hara,” where the navel is. (Don’t worry about the specific location.)
• Move to the Root. The Base of the Spine. Holding your hand in front rather than “under” the actual base of the spine is fine. Again, intention is what counts here.

With the exception of the Crown (tho not necessarily), all of these points may be channeled to while sitting down.

Now, the Channel moves to the rear of the Receiver and channels each point from the rear:
• The Crown
• The “Third Eye” point (as it would protrude from the rear of the head.)
• The Throat.
• The Heart
• The Solar Plexus
• The Hara
• The Root

The Channel then returns to the front. The finishing point is usually another 30 – 60 seconds to the forehead point. Then close with a silent prayer / meditation.

When ready, switch roles. Repeat as often as necessary (or as desired).

Some notes on the technique

It does not matter which point you start with. There is no wrong way to do this. In the early days of my instruction I was taught to start with the third eye, the forehead, because it is the portal of awakening. But if you elect to start with the Crown first and move down, then that is fine. It will not change anything. If you forget to do a charka spot, don’t worry. It will not change anything. The important element here is intention, not locality. The specific charka points are meant to be focal points, something to focus on, just as a lit candle will help some to meditate more easily.

Relax with this. I really mean this. Relax with this as you would with anything. It is nice to have respect for Divine energy and all, and during the actual process stillness is maintained for best results. But just before, and afterward, it need not stand on solemn ceremony where participants are afraid to speak or show any emotion. And by all means, afterward, talk about it, about what you felt, either during the session or after. What did you experience, as both receiver and channel? Compare notes. Like any education, this is how we learn.

And practice. Because practice makes perfect, as in anything. Learn the technique, then develop the art of intention. Which brings me to one final point.

Be more aware of your intention than your technique.

There may be times when you will want to work on a specific area of the body or may not have time to do a whole session with someone. “Spot” channels are fine.

What if you want to channel some negative energy out of your space? Remember that intention is the key. Go ahead and be conscious of channeling the light. Most of the time it is helpful to visualize it coming from your hands, but if imagining it coming from your heart works better, that’s fine. You need not hold up your hand if it would be awkward to do so. The “Universe” totally understands.

Please comment and let me know how this works for you.

While we're on the subject...

I have heard many opinions from those who feel that the government has overstepped its bounds with regard to the national health care bills now being considered.
(Also with regard to practically every area of life. Thank God. People are waking up!)
I’m printing a link to a web page by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, and editor of NaturalNews.com. It is an editorial, like my last one (below), against the passage of the health care bill in whatever shape it assumes by the time it reaches President Obama’s desk. ‘Tis no matter what it looks like by then. The bottom line is that the government is going to tell you how to manage your health care and how much you must pay per year to allow the government to tell you what to do in this regard…and that you have no choice in the matter. Not only is this wrong, it is unconstitutional.

While we're on the subject of health, in my next posting I want to write about a healing technique that is so universal anyone can do it, and all it requires is your willingness to believe and maybe a little bit of imagination. It is not new, although some new-age gurus would have you believe so. And it does not cost any money to learn and practice it. But there is a price...the sacrifice of your previously unconscious life.

Don't worry. You can afford it.
