Nuclear Treaty - What's Wrogn With This Pcture?

...

US & Russia - “Cold War” becomes “Let's Chill” War

April 8, 2010
The United States and Russia today signed a “historic” treaty to reduce the number of nuclear arms in each country. Barak("Our Man Flint")Obama has done it again. Who can argue with that? But is there another agenda? Consider the first paragraphs in the following stories:

Times Online
“The United States and Russia signed a historic treaty today to shrink stockpiles of nuclear weapons in a new show of cooperation designed to halt the spread of atomic bombs, particularly to Iran.”
original story

Yahoo News
PRAGUE – “Casting aside years of rancor, President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday signed the biggest nuclear arms pact in a generation, lacing the moment with new warnings of sanctions for an intransigent Iran.”
original story

And these, within the first couple of paragraphs:

NYTimes
“The Russian president signaled general support for the American-led drive to impose new sanctions on Iran, saying that Tehran’s nuclear program has flouted the international community. “We cannot turn a blind eye to this,” Mr. Medvedev said, while adding that sanctions “should be smart” and avoid hardship for the Iranian people. Mr. Obama said he expected “to be able to secure strong, tough sanctions” on Iran during the spring.”

MSNBC
“Obama and Medvedev reaffirmed their commitment to considering new sanctions against Iran if the Islamic republic continues to refuse to suspend uranium enrichment and start talks on its nuclear program. Medvedev said it's regrettable that Iran has not responded to many constructive proposals the international community has offered, and it's possible the United Nations Security Council will have to take up the issue. And Obama said the U.S. will not tolerate any actions by Iran that risk an arms race in the Middle East or threaten the credibility of the international community.”

Risk an arms race in the middle East? Are you kidding me?

Iran is being set up as Humpty-Dumpty, and the Big Fall is coming soon. This is certainly no news to Iran, and probably not to the American people, most of whom seem convinced by our own media that Iran has been touted to be the center of Hell and that Iran President Ahmadinejad is Satan incarnate.

But consider this:
US and Russia possess 90% of the nuclear arms in the world. The other “leaders” are United Kingdom, France, China. All are members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Israel also has nuclear weapons, more than most people think. However, Israel claims to not have any nuclear weapons. Israel may be lying, of course, according to these sources among many others.

Times Online

Israel is not a member of the NPT and refuses to join, because, as they claim, they don’t have any nuclear weapons.

How many nukes does Israel have? Recent estimates in the last ten years suggests 200 -300, compared to thousands in US and Russia. It may seem a small number, but then how many does it take to cause some significant collateral and radioactive damage?

How many nuclear weapons does Iran have?

None.

And they are willing to join the NPT, even though they have no nuclear weapons.

Israel – “Nukes? We don’t have any nukes! Why should we join your Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty if we don’t have any nukes?” (Wink)

Iran – “Nukes? We don’t have any nukes! We’ll be glad to join your Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, even if we don’t have any nukes.”

But the US and Russia, each with thousands of weapons, strategic and defensive - ready-to-go – are casting beady eyes at Iran, as if ready to wipe Iran “off the Map.”

And then US and Russia have the gall to talk about setting up a defensive US-Sino nuclear wall in Europe. Aw...That is so sweet...US & Russia, together again.

To defend against who? China?

So...What’s wrogn with this pcture?

The Plot Thickens

"Iran announced Saturday it will hold its own international nuclear disarmament summit just days after the United States hosts one in Washington." - Voice of America News.com
Voice of America

Iran said on Sunday China would take part in a nuclear disarmament conference in Tehran later this month, to be held just days after Chinese President Hu Jintao is due to attend a nuclear security summit in Washington.

Iran, embroiled in a deepening nuclear row with the West, says experts and officials from some 60 countries have been invited to the April 17-18 meeting in Tehran, called "Nuclear Energy For Everyone, Nuclear Arms For No One." - Haaretz.com
Haaretz

But wait...there's more:
"Netanyahu pulls out of nuclear summit"

"JERUSALEM - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s abrupt withdrawal early on Friday from next week’s nuclear summit in Washington has underscored Israeli reluctance to expose its own nuclear programme to scrutiny.
The invitation to attend the 47-nation summit on nuclear security hosted by US President Barack Obama posed a dilemma for Netanyahu.
Israel desperately wanted to discuss the perceived threat from Iran’s nuclear drive and the risk that Islamist extremists could get hold of an atomic bomb.
At the same time, it did not want the spotlight turned on its own alleged nuclear arsenal."
Khaleej original story

(So...it's OK if Israeli extremists have the Bomb??)

And Still More...
"...in moves last week that could ease strained Sino-U.S. ties, China announced Hu Jintao would attend the April 12-13 summit in Washington, while its diplomats signalled readiness to join serious talks with Western powers on new sanctions on Iran."

"The Chinese had also welcomed the Iranian initiative and will take part in the (Iranian) event. China has resisted imposing new international sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program."
Haaretz

Huh?!

(BTW - China buys large amounts of oil from Iran. Think that counts for anything?)

Hu Jintao - "I will go to Washington and bash Tehran..."
Hu Jintao - "Now I will go to Tehran and bash Washington..."
Hu Jintao - "Now I will go back to China and continue to bash Falun Gong-ers..."

Now how much would you pay?...

So once again... What's Wrogn With This Pictuer?
