Looking For An Ass To Kick In the Gulf

"I don't sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar. We talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers, so I know whose ass to kick," Obama fumed in an interview to air this morning(June 8, 2010) on NBC's "Today" show.

Go figure. With regard to the Gulf oil spill, Obama wants “an ass to kick.” Presumably to visibly show the world how upset he is by this corporate blunder, and probably to save face for responding too slowly.

Is he this upset by the loss of thousands of lives due to the wars he inherited and is keeping alive? The blood of thousands is gushing and billowing as surely and unstoppably as the oil in the gulf.

• Why is the President not looking for an ass to kick regarding our deplorable and financially draining relationship with our “trusted” ally Israel?
• Why is the President not looking for an ass to kick regarding the Federal Reserve, Goldman Sachs, and general Bailout debacle?

Where has real integrity gone? Where has responsibility gone? What has happened to priorities?

Priorities are dictated by how much money we are losing.

Billowing blood is profitable. Billowing oil is not. Simple as that.

Oil, as the President is publicly demonstrating, is thicker than blood.
